Throughout her life, Kim Samuel has felt a special concern for those of us who feel isolated — especially in the company of others.  Kim is involved in a number of projects that tackle isolation.  ZIG Publishing is supported by Kim’s kindness and generosity and in honour of this we shall, from time to time, be publishing short texts that explore isolation, its causes and, hopefully, what can be done to help those, as Kim puts it, “sitting at the bottom of the well”.
